Zoey Goes Trick or Treating

This is Zoey's first time ever trick or treating due to she was always either too sick or in the hospital to go.  I really think she enjoyed this even if she can't eat the candy.  We all went to the New Harmoney State Park in New Harmoney IN.  My daughter was babysitting 4 children so she brought them along with my Grandson Skyler who is Micheal Myers and his triplet cousins Kyle who had his tiger outfit on and Austin who would only wear his bottoms.  We had a great time and the weather was perfect a bit cool but sunshine the whole day.  I hope you all enjoy my pictures.  Lisa

I just finished a Christmas card I found the sketch layout from this blog I visit often http://christmaschallenges.blogspot.com/   It is not near as pretty as some of the cards that people have posted on this site but I may go ahead and add a sentiment to it and maybe a little more bling.  I just got to think it over.  I started out with a Paper studio card, I purchased the set at Hobby Lobby just last month.  I used a stripped Christmas paper, the red and tan paper I got from my plain stock colors I have on hand.  I found the ribbon if that is what you want to call it at Joann's in the craft section.  I had a snowman stamp from Micheal's last year stamp and colored it with copic's.  I used a red stickles on the hat and scarf to add some sparkle to the card.

Coloring House Mouse with Copic's

Last night I worked on one of my new Christmas House Mouse stamps, coloring with my Copic's.  I have taken a few classes now on blending and coloring with Copics and it has really helped me.  I showed my daughter Amanda and she really liked it.  So that brought up my confidence to go ahead and post a picture of my Copic coloring.

Copic Class

I attended a Copic class hosted by Helen Johnson a certified Copic instructor.  The class was how to do blend and color blacks.  She is a very good teacher and I really have enjoyed every class I have attended.  I thought the cards came out very nice.

Hello it was another beautiful day in Evansville Indiana.  It got up to around 84 degrees and was breezy.  I went to a crop last Friday night at the Corner Crop Store with one of my best friends Debbie
aka...scraphead on the Cricut Circle board.  Here is the card I made Rita a fellow Circle board member who was just diagnosed with breast cancer.  I hope she likes it I just put it in my mailbox so she won't get it until around Friday.  I used a new Inky Antic's stamp and the paper is from a Autumn stack of DCWV.  I colored it with Copic markers and the twine I got from Mary Cork on the Cricut Circle board.  Oh forgot to tell you all that I made the Medical Assistant Program at Ivy Tech Community College, I am soooooo excited.  Staying on the Dean's List and raising my 7yr Grandson Skyler keeps me busy.  Have a good week, I am planning on starting on my Thanksgiving cards this week so if I get any of them done I will post them.  Lisa
